Pass the SALT; VXML Seems To Be King

For those of you who have followed the VXML vs. SALT discussions in the past, you'll find this article to be a fairly accurate summary of the present situation. The author's experience with a representative of one of the founding SALT companies who refused to speak about SALT at Speech World is not at all surprising. Jim Ferrans has published plenty of data that suggests SALT Forum members (with the exception of Microsoft, at least at the moment) are in fact the biggest promoters of VoiceXML.
